Rebecca Germolus founded Maximum Value Marketing in 1997 to provide cost-effective marketing and writing solutions to small-production wineries.
Rebecca offers her clients a diverse set of experience and skills she acquired first-hand while serving as the marketing and public relations manager for Sonoma County wineries. She developed comprehensive marketing plans, enhanced consumer-direct sales activities, managed the launch of a new brand, and increased brand visibility within the trade through effective communication and collateral support. As a marketing and administrative manager, she worked closely with distributors and brokers, managed inventories, allocations, budgets, forecasting and the support staff, and negotiated the complex maze of state and federal compliance lawsgiving her a thorough understanding of the wine business and the challenges facing wineries in today's marketplace.
Prior to entering the wine industry in 1991 to pursue her passion, Rebecca worked in Silicon Valley corporations including Hewlett-Packard and Lockheed. She has a bachelor's degree from Concordia College, a master's degree from San Jose State, and has completed a series of management, wine marketing, public relations, and enology courses at Santa Rosa Junior College. Having grown up working on her family's farm in Minnesota, Rebecca personally relates to the agricultural and family traditions of her clients and is committed to helping them succeed.
